Instructions:
- Start by peeling and mincing the garlic from the two bulbs. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then add the minced garlic and a pinch of salt. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes, being careful not to let it burn.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, sautéed garlic, and all the freshly chopped herbs: basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, and parsley. Stir until well blended. Then, fold in the grated provolone, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese until evenly mixed.
- Take a slice of your chosen bread and spread a generous layer of the cheese mixture on one side. Top it with another slice of bread to complete the sandwich. Repeat this process until all the mixture is used.
- Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. You can add a little more olive oil if desired. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. You may need to press down gently with a spatula to ensure even grilling.
- Once your sandwiches are grilled to perfection, remove them from the skillet. Let them cool for a minute, then slice them in half. Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, herb-filled goodness of your White Pizza Grilled Cheese!
Notes
- Fresh herbs are essential for flavor; don’t skip them!
- Let mascarpone reach room temperature for easier mixing.
- Monitor heat to avoid burning the bread before the cheese melts.
