Ingredients
  

For the Turkey Burgers:
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • ½ teaspoon seasoned salt or kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Sliced fresh tomato
  • Thinly sliced red or white onion
  • Lettuce (such as romaine or iceberg)
  • Dill or sweet pickles
  • Ketchup for serving
  • Mustard for serving
  • Mayonnaise for serving

Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the lean ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat, adding canola oil if using a grill pan.
  4. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Assemble your burger with the cooked patty on a bun, topped with tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles, and your preferred condiments.

Notes

  • Chill patties for 30 minutes before grilling to help maintain shape.
  • Use high-quality ground turkey, at least 90% lean for best results.
  • Toast the buns on the grill for added flavor.
