Cooking Instructions:
- Start by gathering all your ingredients. Make sure your butter is at room temperature for easy spreading.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. This will create a beautifully golden crust when grilled.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices of bread, layer the cheddar cheese, followed by the mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the finely shredded Parmesan cheese evenly over the mozzarella.
- Top with the remaining slices of sourdough, buttered side out. You should have two sandwiches ready for grilling.
- Place your non-stick skillet over medium heat. Allow it to warm up for a couple of minutes.
- Add both sandwiches to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwiches using your spatula.
- Cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until it is also golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Once both sides are perfectly crisp, remove the sandwiches from the skillet. Allow them to rest for a minute, then slice in half and serve warm.
