Stepwise Method:
- Step 1: Melt the Chocolate
Begin by melting the dark chocolate. If you’re using a double boiler, fill the bottom pot with water and bring it to a gentle simmer. Place the chocolate in the top pot and stir until fully melted. If you’re using a microwave, place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted. - Step 2: Add Coconut Oil
Once the chocolate is melted, stir in the coconut oil until fully combined. This will give the bark a nice sheen and add a hint of coconut flavor. - Step 3: Mix in Superfoods
Remove the melted chocolate mixture from the heat. Gently fold in the chopped dried blueberries, cranberries, and almonds until evenly distributed. - Step 4: Spread on Baking Sheet
Pour the chocolate mixture onto the lined baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it out evenly to your desired thickness. It can be as thick or thin as you like, just keep in mind that thicker bark will take longer to set. - Step 5: Chill Until Set
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and allow the Superfood Chocolate Bark to chill for at least 1-2 hours, or until fully set. - Step 6: Break and Enjoy
Once the bark is set, remove it from the refrigerator. Use a sharp knife or your hands to break it into pieces. Enjoy your homemade treat or package it up as gifts for friends and family!
