Ingredients

  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate coarsely chopped
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter cut into cubes
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Gold Medal all-purpose flour
  • 48 miniature Snickers frozen for at least 1 hour
  • 15 individually wrapped caramel candies (I used Kraft)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • 8x8-inch baking pan
  • Double boiler or microwave
  • Whisk
  • Spatula
  • Knife or pizza cutter

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your 8x8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a double boiler or microwave, melt the coarsely chopped unsweetened chocolate and cubed unsalted butter together until smooth. Stir occasionally to ensure even melting.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted chocolate mixture with sugar until combined. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the pure vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few flour streaks are okay.
  5. Take your frozen miniature Snickers and fold them into the brownie batter. This ensures that each bite has a delicious piece of Snickers.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. While the brownies are baking, melt the individually wrapped caramel candies with the heavy cream in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  8. Once the brownies are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Drizzle the melted caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with salted peanuts.
  9. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into bite-sized squares. Enjoy these Snickers Brownie Bites as a delicious treat!

Notes

  • For a lighter flavor, replace unsweetened chocolate with cocoa powder.
  • Use coconut oil instead of butter for a dairy-free version.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
