Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
If you're using store-bought sugar cookie dough, slice it into rounds or break it into smaller pieces.
Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
Bake the crust for about 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
Once the crust has cooled slightly, sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips evenly over the bottom.
If using marshmallow fluff, spoon it over the chocolate chips and spread it evenly.
Return the pie to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, until the marshmallows are lightly toasted.
Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool on a cooling rack before slicing.
