Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound cauliflower cut into florets
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • Sea salt to taste

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons

Method

  1. Begin by washing the cauliflower thoroughly. Cut it into bite-sized florets. Aim for uniform size to ensure even cooking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the cauliflower florets. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Toss everything together until the florets are evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. Preheating ensures that the cauliflower starts cooking immediately upon being placed inside, resulting in better crispiness.
  4. Carefully place the seasoned cauliflower florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The cauliflower should be golden brown and crispy when done.
  5. Once the cauliflower is roasted to perfection, remove it from the air fryer and transfer it to a serving dish. Enjoy it warm as a side dish or snack!

Notes

  • Store leftover cauliflower in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze cooked cauliflower in a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
  • Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes until crispy again.
