Ingredients
  

For the Bars:
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/8 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup Reeses Pieces
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

Directions
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Step 4: Mix in the peanut butter, then add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Step 5: In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Step 6: Fold in Reeses Pieces and chocolate chips.
  7. Step 7: Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  8. Step 8: Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out using parchment paper to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • Let butter soften at room temperature for best results.
  • Don’t overmix after adding flour to maintain texture.
  • For gooey bars, slightly underbake them.
