  • 1 cup roasted lightly salted peanuts
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 16 oz chocolate CandiQuik
  • 1 cup Reese's peanut butter chips
  • 8 oz Reese's Minis (1 bag)
  • 1 cup Reese's Pieces
  • 20 pieces Reese's Miniatures (halved)
  • Additional peanuts, peanut butter chips, and Reese’s (as needed)

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace - Start by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. This will make transferring your Reeses Muddy Buddies a breeze and will help with cleanup later.
  2. Step 2: Melt the Chocolate Mixture - In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate CandiQuik and Reese's peanut butter chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted. Be careful not to overheat; chocolate can burn quickly.
  3. Step 3: Mix the Chex and Peanuts - In a large mixing bowl, combine the Chocolate flavored Chex cereal and roasted peanuts. Gently pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and peanuts, stirring carefully to coat everything evenly.
  4. Step 4: Add the Powdered Sugar - Once the cereal and peanuts are well coated, sprinkle the powdered sugar over the mixture. Use a spatula or your hands (wearing gloves if you prefer) to mix until all the cereal is covered in powdered sugar.
