Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
- Step 2: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Step 3: In another bowl, combine the peanut butter, water, yogurt or mashed banana, and maple syrup or honey. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Step 4: Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
- Step 5: Spoon the batter into the greased donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full. A piping bag can help for cleaner results.
- Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Step 7: Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Enjoy them as is or add your favorite toppings!
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- For a gluten-free version, use a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend.
