Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 medium ripe avocado peeled and pitted
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or agave to taste

Method
 

  1. Gather all of your ingredients on the counter.
  2. Pour 1 cup of water into the blender.
  3. Add 2 cups of fresh spinach to the blender.
  4. Scoop out 1/2 of a medium ripe avocado and add it to the blender.
  5. Throw in 2 cups of frozen pineapple chunks.
  6. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey or agave, depending on your sweetness preference.
  7. Blend until everything is well combined and smooth.
  8. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary, then blend again.
  9. Pour the smoothie into a glass or jar and enjoy immediately.

  • Frozen pineapple adds thickness and keeps the smoothie cold.
