Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Colander

Method

  1. Step 1: Cook the Pasta - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta in a colander and let it cool for a few minutes.
  2. Step 2: Preheat the Oven - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to help the chips become crispy.
  3. Step 3: Coat the Pasta - Drizzle the cooked pasta with olive oil. Toss gently to ensure every piece is covered.
  4. Step 4: Season It Up - Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and your chosen seasoning over the oiled pasta. Toss again until well coated.
  5. Step 5: Arrange on a Baking Sheet - Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the seasoned pasta in a single layer.
  6. Step 6: Bake - Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  7. Step 7: Cool and Serve - Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dips.

Notes

  • Experiment with different pasta shapes like farfalle or penne.
  • Adjust seasoning to your taste; add more for bolder flavors.
  • Bake longer for extra crunch, but avoid burning.
