Ingredients

  • 1 packet Quaker Organic Instant Oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk any kind
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder do not use baking soda

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • Non-stick Skillet or Griddle
  • Spatula
  • Measuring Cups & Spoons

Method

  1. Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients. Start by gathering all your ingredients in one place. This makes the cooking process smoother and more enjoyable.
  2. Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the packet of Quaker Organic Instant Oatmeal, flour, sugar, and baking powder. Whisk them together to ensure they are evenly mixed.
  3. Step 3: Add Wet Ingredients. In another bowl, beat the egg and then add the milk. Mix until well combined. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix; a few lumps are perfectly fine.
  4. Step 4: Preheat the Skillet. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can add a tiny bit of oil or butter to prevent sticking, but it’s often not necessary with a good non-stick pan.
  5. Step 5: Cook the Pancakes. Once the skillet is hot, pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another minute or until golden brown.
  6. Step 6: Serve and Enjoy. Remove the pancakes from the skillet and serve them warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruits, or a dollop of yogurt. Enjoy your delightful Oatmeal Packet Pancakes!

Notes

  • These pancakes are great for meal prep—freeze them for up to 2 months!
