Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup salted butter softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  4. Cream together the softened butter, dark brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add in the eggs one at a time and mix well. Then add the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  8. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
