Preparation Steps:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, white miso paste, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper until smooth.
- Place the chicken in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Baste the chicken with reserved marinade halfway through cooking. For a crispy finish, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
