Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs:
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely diced yellow onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the plain breadcrumbs and whole milk. Let them sit for a few minutes.
  3. Step 3: Add the lean ground turkey, large egg, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, diced onion, minced garlic, kosher salt, and ground black pepper to the bowl.
  4. Step 4: Gently mix the ingredients until just combined.
  5. Step 5: Roll the mixture into balls about 1.5 inches in diameter and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Step 6: Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Step 7: Let them cool for a few minutes before serving with your favorite sauce or on their own.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze meatballs for up to 3 months in a freezer-safe container.
  • Use fresh herbs like basil or cilantro for a flavor twist.
