Ingredients

For the Blondies:
  • 2 1/4 cups Kroger all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups packed Kroger light brown sugar
  • 12 tablespoons butter melted and slightly cooled
  • 2 large Kroger eggs at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups Kroger mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup toffee bits or chopped up Heath or Skor candy bars
  • Sea salt for sprinkling on blondies

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • Spatula
  • Baking pan (9x13 inch)
  • Parchment paper
  • Oven

Method

Directions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This allows your blondies to bake evenly.
  2. Step 2: Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal after baking.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sea salt, and baking soda. Set this mixture aside.
  4. Step 4: In another bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Mix until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk until fully incorporated.
  5. Step 5: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  6. Step 6: Gently fold in the mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and toffee bits.
  7. Step 7: Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Step 8: Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • For best flavor, use high-quality butter and vanilla extract.
  • Ensure eggs are at room temperature for better mixing.
  • If toffee bits are unavailable, chopped chocolate-covered toffee bars make a great substitute.
