Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 each graham cracker pie crust

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Electric mixer
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Pie dish

Method

Instructions
  1. Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, pour in the heavy whipping cream. Use an electric mixer to whip the cream until it forms stiff peaks. This should take about 3-5 minutes on medium-high speed.
  2. Step 2: In a separate bowl, combine the mini marshmallows and milk. Heat this mixture in the microwave for about 30 seconds, or until the marshmallows are softened. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Step 3: Add the softened marshmallow mixture to the whipped cream. Gently fold the two mixtures together using a spatula, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream. Add the vanilla extract.
  4. Step 4: Pour the marshmallow filling into the pre-made graham cracker pie crust. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
  5. Step 5: Cover the pie with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator. Let it chill for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow it to set properly.
  6. Step 6: Once the pie is set, slice it into wedges and serve. You can garnish with additional whipped cream or chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • Don’t overmix the whipped cream when folding it into the marshmallow mixture.
  • Chilling the pie overnight enhances the flavor and texture.
  • This pie pairs wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • If you have leftovers, keep them covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
