Ingredients
  

For the Salmon:
  • 2 pieces skinless salmon fillets about 6 oz. each
  • 4 tsp olive oil for rubbing the salmon
  • 1 tsp Szeged Fish Rub or your favorite fish rub seasoning
  • 2 tbsp sugar-free maple syrup for sweetness
  • 1 tbsp fresh-squeezed lime juice for acidity and brightness
  • 1 tsp Sriracha sauce for heat, adjust to taste
  • non-stick grill spray for preventing sticking if grilling

Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Salmon - Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. Step 2: Season the Fillets - Rub the fillets with olive oil and sprinkle the Szeged Fish Rub evenly on both sides. Allow the salmon to sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Make the Maple Glaze - In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar-free maple syrup, fresh-squeezed lime juice, and Sriracha sauce.
  4. Step 4: Cooking Methods - Grilled: Preheat grill, spray grates, grill salmon for 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Baked: Preheat oven to 400°F, place salmon on baking sheet, bake for 12-15 minutes.
  6. Pan-Seared: Heat skillet, add salmon, sear for 4 minutes, flip, brush with glaze, cook for another 3-4 minutes.

Notes
