Ingredients
  

  • 6 pounds chicken wings Fresh or frozen, thawed and patted dry
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • pinch red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. If using frozen wings, ensure they are thawed and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, kosher salt, black pepper, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, Sriracha, ground cumin, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Add the wings to the bowl and toss to coat thoroughly.
  5. Line a baking sheet with foil and arrange the wings in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
  7. If desired, glaze the wings again during the last few minutes of baking.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving with dipping sauces.

Notes

  • Prepare the glaze up to 2 days in advance and store in the refrigerator.
  • Marinate wings in the glaze for up to 24 hours for deeper flavor.
  • Store leftover wings in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven.
