- Step 1: Toast Your Bread - Start by toasting your slices of bread until they are golden brown and crispy. This adds a delightful crunch to your toast.
- Step 2: Mash the Avocado - In a mixing bowl, take your ripe avocado and mash it with a fork until it reaches your desired consistency. You can leave it chunky for texture or mash it until smooth.
- Step 3: Season the Avocado - Add a pinch of sea salt and black pepper to your mashed avocado for extra flavor. Mix well.
- Step 4: Spread the Hummus - Take your toasted bread and spread 2 to 4 tablespoons of hummus on each slice, depending on how much you love hummus!
- Step 5: Layer the Avocado - Spoon the mashed avocado generously on top of the hummus. Use the back of the spoon to create a beautiful swirl.
