Ingredients

  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz, at room temperature)
  • 1.5 teaspoons lemon zest (freshly grated)

  • 0.25 teaspoon lemon extract (optional)
  • 1 container marshmallow crème (7 oz)

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Electric Mixer or Whisk
  • Measuring spoons and cups
  • Spatula
  • Serving bowl

Method

  1. Begin by ensuring that your cream cheese is at room temperature. Microwave it for about 10-15 seconds if needed.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, and lemon extract (if using). Beat until creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the marshmallow crème with a spatula or mix on low speed until well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness with more marshmallow crème or powdered sugar, and add more lemon zest or juice if desired.
  5. Optional: Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving for enhanced flavor.
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl and arrange fresh fruits around the dip for serving.
