For the Lobster Tails:
  • 2 pieces lobster tails
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup water

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Lobster Tails - Use kitchen shears to cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise for even cooking.
  2. Step 2: Make the Butter Mixture - In a small bowl, melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter. Add salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika; mix well.
  3. Step 3: Add Water to the Instant Pot - Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot for steaming.
  4. Step 4: Place the Lobster Tails in the Pot - Insert a steaming rack or trivet and place the lobster tails on top.
  5. Step 5: Apply the Butter Mixture - Brush the lobster meat with the prepared butter mixture for flavor.
  6. Step 6: Seal and Cook - Close the lid of the Instant Pot, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  7. Step 7: Quick Release - Once cooking is complete, perform a quick release of the pressure.
  8. Step 8: Serve and Enjoy - Remove the lobster tails, drizzle with remaining melted butter, and serve immediately.
