Ingredients
  

  • 1 Egg fresh
  • 1 Tbsp Butter unsalted recommended
  • 2 Tbsp Milk optional, can use milk alternative
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1 Nonstick Spray

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients on your countertop: one egg, butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spray the inside of your microwave-safe bowl with nonstick spray.
  3. Crack the egg into the bowl and add the tablespoon of butter. If using milk, add it now. Whisk everything together with a fork.
  4. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the egg mixture and stir well to combine.
  5. Place the bowl in the microwave and cook on high for 30 seconds. Stir gently.
  6. Return the bowl to the microwave and cook for another 30 seconds until set but still moist.
  7. Let the eggs sit for a minute to finish cooking from residual heat.
  8. Fluff up the eggs gently with a fork and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, substitute butter with olive oil.
  • Add cheese before microwaving for a cheesy twist.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
