Equipment

  • Large baking dish
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Oven
  • Grater or knife

Method

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Marinade - Begin by melting the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Once melted, remove it from the heat and whisk in the honey, crushed garlic, and lime juice until well combined.
  2. Step 2: Marinate the Salmon - Place the salmon in a large baking dish, skin-side down. Pour the honey-lime marinade over the salmon, ensuring it is evenly coated. Sprinkle with sea salt and cracked pepper to taste. Let the salmon marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Step 3: Preheat the Oven - While the salmon marinates, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Step 4: Bake the Salmon - Once marinated, transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven. Bake the salmon for 20-25 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  5. Step 5: Garnish and Serve - Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and lime slices before serving. Enjoy your flavorful Honey Lime Salmon with your favorite sides!
