Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (1 stick of butter)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon espresso powder
  • 1 cup Dutch cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon table salt
  • 1 cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease it lightly.
  3. Step 3: Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Step 4: Stir in the granulated sugar and espresso powder, then add the eggs and vanilla extract.
  5. Step 5: In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
