  • 1 piece Dave’s Killer Bread Epic Everything Bagel toasted
  • 1 tablespoon basil pesto
  • 2 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 slice Havarti cheese
  • 1/2 cup arugula
  • 1/2 piece avocado sliced

  • Toaster or toaster oven

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Start by toasting your 1 Dave’s Killer Bread Epic Everything Bagel until it's golden brown and crispy.
  2. In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, crack the two large eggs. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the whites are set, but the yolks are still runny.
  3. Spread one tablespoon of basil pesto on one half of the toasted bagel. Layer the slice of Havarti cheese on top, followed by the cooked eggs.
  4. Next, layer the sliced avocado and arugula on top of the eggs.
  5. Finally, place the other half of the bagel on top. Press down gently to hold everything together.
  6. Slice the sandwich in half if desired, and enjoy your deliciously crafted Egg, Avocado, and Pesto Bagel Sandwich while it’s warm!

Notes

  • For a vegan version, replace eggs with scrambled tofu and use vegan cheese.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.
  • Reheat in a toaster oven to maintain crispiness.
