Directions
- In a bowl, combine the beef strips with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prep the vegetables.
- In a large wok or skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the marinated beef to the hot pan in a single layer. Sear the beef for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the minced garlic, broccoli florets, bell pepper strips, and matchstick carrots. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the veggies are tender yet crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Add the remaining soy sauce, sesame oil, and sriracha. Toss everything together and cook for another minute to heat through and combine flavors.
- Remove from heat, and stir in the sliced green onions. Serve the stir fry immediately, garnished with toasted sesame seeds on top.
Notes
- For a different protein option, use chicken, shrimp, or tofu.
- Feel free to swap in any veggies based on your preference.
- Adjust the sriracha to control the spice level or use chili flakes instead.
