Ingredients

  • 1 8-ounce boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1/3 cup milk (any percentage)
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 ounces fettuccine noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups your favorite red sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Method
 

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. Step 2: Place the chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound to about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Step 3: Set up your breading station with milk in one bowl and a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper in another.
  4. Step 4: Dip each chicken breast into the milk, then coat in the panko mixture and place in the baking dish.
  5. Step 5: Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  6. Step 6: Cook the fettuccine in salted water according to package instructions, then drain.
  7. Step 7: Pour red sauce over the baked chicken, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  8. Step 8: Return to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
