Stir in the 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and 6 ounces of grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese has melted and the sauce becomes thick and creamy.
Add the 1/8 teaspoon of ground black pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning if necessary, and continue stirring for another minute until everything is fully integrated.
