Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter Provides a rich base and adds depth of flavor.
  • 18 ounces cream cheese The star ingredient that gives the sauce its creamy consistency.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adds a subtle garlicky flavor without overpowering the sauce.
  • 1 cup Shamrock Farms Whole Milk Balances the richness of the cream and helps achieve the desired consistency.
  • 1 cup Shamrock Farms Heavy Whipping Cream Intensifies the creaminess and provides a luxurious mouthfeel.
  • 6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese A must-have for that authentic cheesy flavor.
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper Just a hint of spice to enhance the overall flavor.
  • Parsley for garnish Adds a pop of color and freshness.

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Serving spoon

Method

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the 1/4 cup of butter. Allow it to become bubbly, but be careful not to let it brown.
  2. Once the butter has melted, add the 18 ounces of cream cheese. Use a whisk to blend it with the butter until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Slowly pour in the 1 cup of Shamrock Farms Whole Milk and 1 cup of Shamrock Farms Heavy Whipping Cream. Continue whisking until everything is well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and 6 ounces of grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese has melted and the sauce becomes thick and creamy.
  5. Add the 1/8 teaspoon of ground black pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning if necessary, and continue stirring for another minute until everything is fully integrated.
  6. Remove the sauce from the heat and serve it over your favorite pasta, or use it in your favorite recipes. If desired, garnish with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for a fresh touch.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently over low heat, adding a splash of milk or cream to restore creaminess.
