  • 1 cup raw pistachios roasted and shelled
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate or bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher or sea salt

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Rubber spatula

Method

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare Your Baking Sheet - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Step 2: Melt the Chocolate - In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate or bittersweet chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  3. Step 3: Mix the Nuts - In a separate bowl, combine the roasted almonds and pistachios. Pour the melted chocolate over the nuts and stir until evenly coated.
  4. Step 4: Form the Clusters - Using a rubber spatula or spoon, scoop out small portions of the chocolate-nut mixture and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Step 5: Sprinkle with Sea Salt - Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle the clusters with a pinch of kosher or sea salt.
  6. Step 6: Let Them Set - Allow the clusters to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has completely hardened.

Notes

  • Store clusters in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
  • For a nut-free version, substitute nuts with seeds like sunflower or pumpkin seeds.
  • Add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup for a sweeter treat.
