Ingredients

  • 10 ounces fresh spinach roughly chopped with long stems removed
  • 14 ounces artichoke hearts drained and roughly chopped
  • 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese cubed
  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream Greek yogurt may be substituted
  • ½ cup full-fat mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 3 to 5 cloves garlic peeled and finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper or to taste

Equipment

  • Crockpot
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mixing Spoon
  • Serving bowl

Method

  1. Begin by preparing your ingredients. Chop the fresh spinach and artichoke hearts, mince the garlic, and cube the cream cheese. Having everything ready to go will make the process smooth and easy.
  2. In your crockpot, add the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, cubed cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, shredded mozzarella cheese, shredded parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Using a mixing spoon, stir all the ingredients together until they are well combined. Make sure the cream cheese is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  4. Cover the crockpot with its lid and set it on low heat. Allow the dip to cook for about 2 to 3 hours. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking and to blend the flavors together.
  5. Once the dip is hot and bubbly, it’s ready to serve! Transfer it to a serving bowl and enjoy it warm with your choice of chips, crackers, or bread.

Notes

  • Allow the dip to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Reheat in the microwave or crockpot until warmed through.
