Ingredients
  

For the Wings:
  • 4 lbs chicken wings separated and wing tips discarded
  • 1.5 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/3 cup Buffalo sauce such as Frank's Red Hot

Method
 

From Start to Finish:
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the baking powder, seasoned salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until combined.
  4. Sprinkle the dry mixture over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.
  6. Bake the wings for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  7. While the wings are baking, melt the butter and mix it with the Buffalo sauce. Toss the baked wings in the sauce until well coated.
  8. Serve your crispy oven baked chicken wings with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • Make sure to dry the wings thoroughly to avoid sogginess.
  • Don't overcrowd the baking sheet for even cooking.
  • You can use other sauces like BBQ or teriyaki for variety.
