Ingredients

For the Sliders:
  • 12 pieces breaded chicken strips frozen
  • 12 pieces sweet dinner rolls
  • 1 cup Sabra Honey Mustard Spread
Optional Toppings:
  • fresh lettuce
  • sliced tomato
  • thinly sliced purple onion
  • sliced pickles

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Oven or air fryer
  • Spatula
  • Knife

Method

Method:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Chicken - Preheat your oven or air fryer according to the package instructions for the breaded chicken strips. Spread the frozen strips evenly on a baking sheet or in the air fryer basket. Bake or air fry until they are golden brown and crispy, usually about 12-15 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Toast the Rolls (Optional) - While the chicken is cooking, you can toast the sweet dinner rolls if you prefer a little extra crunch. Simply slice them in half and place them on a baking sheet. Toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes until they're lightly golden.
  3. Step 3: Assemble the Sliders - Once the chicken strips are ready, it’s time to assemble your sliders. Spread a generous amount of Sabra Honey Mustard on the bottom half of each dinner roll.
  4. Step 4: Add Chicken and Toppings - Place a crispy chicken strip on top of the honey mustard spread for each slider. If you're using optional toppings like lettuce, tomato, onion, or pickles, layer them on top of the chicken.
  5. Step 5: Complete the Sliders - Finally, place the top half of the dinner roll on each slider. Secure with a toothpick if desired, and serve immediately while they’re warm and crispy.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, consider toasting the dinner rolls before assembling the sliders.
  • Feel free to customize toppings based on your preferences.
  • Store leftover sliders in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
