  • Serving dishes

Method

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Prepare the Chicken. Season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Step 2: Set Up a Dredging Station. Place flour in the first dish, beaten eggs in the second, and a mix of parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in the third.
  3. Step 3: Dredge the Chicken. Coat each cutlet in flour, dip in eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Step 4: Heat the Skillet. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat until hot.
  5. Step 5: Fry the Chicken. Fry the breaded cutlets in batches for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Keep warm in the oven.
  6. Step 6: Assemble the Dish. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C), top cutlets with mozzarella and marinara sauce.
  7. Step 7: Bake to Perfection. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Step 8: Prepare the Pasta. Cook spaghetti or angel hair according to package instructions.
  9. Step 9: Serve It Up. Plate the pasta, top with chicken parmesan, and garnish with basil.

Notes

  • Marinate chicken cutlets in lemon juice and garlic for extra flavor.
  • Ensure mozzarella is patted dry to avoid a watery topping.
  • Add red pepper flakes to marinara for a spicier kick.
