Method

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Season the Chicken - Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Step 2: Sear the Chicken - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Step 3: Make the Sauce - In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Step 4: Thicken the Sauce - Sprinkle flour over garlic, stir, and gradually whisk in milk. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Step 5: Add in the Cream Cheese and Herbs - Reduce heat, stir in cream cheese, thyme, and rosemary until smooth.
  6. Step 6: Return the Chicken - Nestle chicken into the sauce, spoon sauce over, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Step 7: Serve and Garnish - Serve hot, garnished with parsley, and enjoy with your favorite sides!

Notes

  • Feel free to swap in your favorite herbs or add a splash of white wine for extra flavor.
  • For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese.
  • Use pre-cooked or rotisserie chicken to speed up the process.
