  • 4 slices Jewish rye bread (preferably seeded)
  • ½ cup Russian dressing
  • 1 pound corned beef (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup coleslaw
  • to taste Pickles for serving
  • to taste Potato chips for serving

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients. If you're making homemade coleslaw, prepare it according to your favorite recipe or package instructions.
  2. Lay out two slices of Jewish rye bread on your cutting board. Spread ¼ cup of Russian dressing evenly over each slice.
  3. Place half of the thinly sliced corned beef on one slice of bread, covering it completely.
  4. Top the corned beef with ½ cup of coleslaw, spreading it evenly over the meat.
  5. Place the other slice of bread, dressing side down, on top of the coleslaw. Press down gently to secure the layers.
  6. Cut the sandwich in half diagonally and serve with pickles and potato chips.
