Ingredients
  

For the Rolls:
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for the dough)
  • 3-4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
For the Cinnamon Honey Butter:
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

Making the Rolls:
  1. Step 1: Activate the Yeast - In a small bowl, combine the active dry yeast with sugar and warm water. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, or until frothy.
  2. Step 2: Prepare the Dough - In a large mixing bowl, combine milk, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Add the frothy yeast mixture and stir.
  3. Step 3: Add Flour and Egg - Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, until the dough comes together. Add the egg and mix, adjusting flour as needed for a smooth texture.
  4. Step 4: Knead the Dough - Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Step 5: Let the Dough Rise - Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
  6. Step 6: Shape the Rolls - Punch down the dough, transfer to a floured surface, divide into 12-15 pieces, and shape into balls.
  7. Step 7: Second Rise - Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  8. Step 8: Bake the Rolls - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
