  • 1 large banana peeled, for natural sweetness and creaminess.
  • 1 large green apple cored, peeled, and chopped, adds freshness.
  • 2 tablespoons shaved coconut For added texture and a coconut kick.

Method

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare Your Ingredients. Start by gathering all your ingredients. Peel the banana and chop the green apple into smaller pieces for easier blending. Make sure your spinach is washed and ready to go.
  2. Step 2: Add Ingredients to Blender. In your blender, combine the 1/2 cup of coconut milk, 1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt, 1 cup of spinach, the large banana, and the chopped green apple.
  3. Step 3: Blend Until Smooth. Add the 2 tablespoons of shaved coconut and the cup of ice. Blend on high until all ingredients are smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little more coconut milk to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Step 4: Taste and Adjust. Taste your smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed. If you prefer it sweeter, consider adding a bit of honey or another banana.
  5. Step 5: Serve and Enjoy. Pour your Coconut Green Smoothie into a glass or jar, and if you like, top it with additional shaved coconut for presentation. Enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture!

Notes

  • Store leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
  • Frozen fruits can be used for added chill and creaminess.
  • For a vegan option, swap Greek yogurt for a non-dairy yogurt.
