Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease your 9x13-inch baking dish with melted butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Open the package of buttermilk biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Toss the biscuit pieces with the melted butter and half of the cinnamon sugar mixture until well coated.
  6. Spread the biscuit mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture over the top of the biscuit pieces.
  8. Bake the cake for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating the softened cream cheese and softened butter together until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and salt, mixing until creamy.
  10. Once the cake has cooled slightly, drizzle the cream cheese frosting over the warm cake.
