Directions
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for even baking.
  2. Step 2: Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  3. Step 3: Mash the ripe avocados in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Add melted butter, eggs, maple syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract to the avocados and whisk until smooth.
  5. Step 5: In a separate bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sea salt, and espresso powder (if using).
  6. Step 6: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Step 7: Fold in chocolate chunks, reserving some for the top.
  8. Step 8: Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  9. Step 9: Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Step 10: Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out and cool completely on a wire rack before cutting.
