Cuisine: American

Ingredients

For the Wrap:
  • 4 large tortillas flour or whole wheat
  • 8 oz deli sliced chicken breast opt for rotisserie chicken for added flavor
  • 3 cups Romaine lettuce freshly chopped
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese shaved
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing creamy and rich
  • ½ cup purple onion thinly sliced

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Serving platter

Method

Preparation Steps:
  1. Start by washing and chopping the Romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Thinly slice the purple onion and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped Romaine lettuce, deli-sliced chicken breast, shaved parmesan cheese, and thinly sliced purple onion. Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the top and toss gently to coat all the ingredients evenly.
  3. Lay out a large tortilla on a flat surface. Spoon a generous portion of the chicken Caesar mixture onto the center of the tortilla. Be careful not to overfill it, as you’ll need room to wrap it up.
  4. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll from the bottom to the top, securing the filling tightly within. Repeat this process for the remaining tortillas and filling.
  5. Once all wraps are assembled, slice each wrap in half diagonally. Arrange them on a serving platter and enjoy immediately, or pack them for later!

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken slices in a bit of lemon juice and garlic before adding them to the wrap.
  • If you prefer a lighter option, swap out the Caesar dressing for a yogurt-based version.
  • You can easily customize this wrap by adding other ingredients like avocado, cherry tomatoes, or croutons for extra texture.
  • Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese, such as feta or mozzarella, for a unique twist.
