Instructions:
- Start by peeling and mincing the 5 garlic cloves. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic with the 2 sticks of softened butter. Mix well until the garlic is evenly distributed throughout the butter. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
- Take your 8 slices of bread and spread a generous layer of the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice.
- On the non-buttered side of 4 slices, place slices of brie cheese. Be sure to cover the bread evenly for maximum cheese pull!
- Place the remaining 4 slices of bread butter-side up on top of the brie-covered slices.
- Heat your skillet or griddle over medium heat. Once hot, place the sandwiches in the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Once toasted to perfection, remove the sandwiches from the skillet. Sprinkle with chopped parsley for a fresh touch. Cut each sandwich in half and serve warm for the best experience.
Notes
- Don’t skimp on the butter – it’s essential for flavor and achieving that golden crust.
- Use a medium heat to prevent burning the bread while ensuring the cheese melts thoroughly.
- Press down lightly on the sandwiches while cooking to help the melting process and achieve even browning.
