Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Grease your 9x13-inch baking dish with melted butter or cooking spray.
- Step 3: Crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs and set aside.
- Step 4: In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, slightly beaten egg, and milk. Whisk until well blended. Add the graham cracker crumbs, chopped pecans, and toffee bits. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Step 5: Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly with a spatula.
- Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Step 7: In a separate bowl, combine the powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla extract. Add milk as needed to moisten until spreadable.
- Step 8: Once the bars are done baking, spread the topping evenly over the warm bars and sprinkle with additional chopped pecans.
- Step 9: Allow to cool completely in the dish before cutting into squares.
