Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Pumpernickel Bagels
  • 8 ounces Smoked Salmon
  • 6 tablespoons Garlic Lemon Herb Cream Cheese (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 medium Cucumber (sliced)
  • 1 small Red Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 medium Avocado (sliced)

  • 4 tablespoons Sweet Mustard Dill Sauce

Equipment

  • Toaster or oven

  • Spreader or Knife

Method

  1. Begin by slicing your pumpernickel bagels in half. Toast them in a toaster or under the broiler until they are golden brown and slightly crispy.
  2. Once the bagels are toasted, generously spread garlic lemon herb cream cheese over each half.
  3. Layer smoked salmon over the cream cheese.
  4. Add cucumber slices, followed by red onion slices, and then avocado slices.
  5. Add thin slices of apple on top followed by a handful of baby arugula.
  6. Drizzle the sweet mustard dill sauce over the top of each bagel half.
  7. Serve your breakfast bagels on a platter and enjoy!

Notes

  • Freeze bagels sliced for easy toasting later.
  • Use whole wheat bagels for a lighter option.
  • Swap cream cheese with Greek yogurt for a healthier alternative.
