  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to help your biscuits rise beautifully.
  2. Step 2: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Bisquick and sugar until well combined.
  3. Step 3: In a separate bowl, combine the buttermilk and vanilla extract. Stir well.
  4. Step 4: Pour the buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined.
  5. Step 5: Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
  6. Step 6: Scoop out portions of the dough and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Step 7: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  8. Step 8: Cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before serving warm.

Notes

  • Store leftover biscuits in an airtight container for up to three days.
  • Freeze the dough before baking; bake from frozen with extra time.
  • To reheat, warm in a 350°F (175°C) oven for about 10 minutes.
