Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter for a rich, buttery flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil adds depth and helps with cooking.
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened, gives a creamy base.
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream the star of the show for that luscious texture.
  • 1 teaspoon Stone House Seasoning a blend that enhances flavor beautifully.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese for that classic cheese flavor.
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese adds creaminess and stretch.

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Wooden spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Grater

Method

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the 4 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture is bubbling slightly.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and add the 4 ounces of softened cream cheese to the pan. Stir continuously until the cream cheese is completely melted and combined with the butter and oil.
  3. Slowly pour in 2 cups of heavy whipping cream, stirring constantly to ensure the mixture is smooth and well combined. Allow it to simmer gently for about 2-3 minutes, letting the flavors meld together.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon of Stone House Seasoning to the sauce. Stir it well, allowing the seasoning to infuse into the creamy mixture.
  5. Gradually mix in the 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup of grated mozzarella cheese. Keep stirring until both cheeses are melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Taste your sauce and adjust the seasoning if necessary. You can add more Stone House Seasoning or a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor.
  7. Your Best Homemade Alfredo Sauce Recipe is ready! Serve it over your favorite pasta and enjoy the creamy goodness.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with milk.
  • This sauce can be made ahead of time and reheated gently on the stove.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like Asiago for varied flavors.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, let it simmer longer to reduce the liquid.
