  • 6 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 can evaporated milk 12-oz
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 box cinnamon swirl cake mix 21-oz
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter thinly sliced

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease your 9x13-inch baking dish with a little butter or cooking spray.
  3. Mash the 6 ripe bananas until smooth.
  4. Add the evaporated milk to the mashed bananas and stir until combined.
  5. Pour the banana mixture into the prepared baking dish. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle the chopped pecans.
  6. Carefully sprinkle the entire box of cinnamon swirl cake mix over the banana mixture. Do not stir.
  7. Distribute the thinly sliced butter evenly over the surface of the cake mix.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Once baked, let it cool slightly before serving.
