  • 6 oz tilapia fillets (fresh or thawed)
  • 4 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • Kosher salt (to taste)
  • black pepper (to taste)
  • Olive oil spray (for baking dish)

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spray your baking dish lightly with olive oil.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed garlic, melted butter, fresh lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Pat the tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with kosher salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Place the seasoned tilapia fillets in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Drizzle the garlic-butter-lemon mixture evenly over the tilapia fillets.
  7. Bake the tilapia for 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Once out of the oven, sprinkle additional fresh parsley over the top for garnish. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, place in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
  • For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the garlic mixture.
