Method

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for optimal crispiness.
  2. Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the minced ginger, minced garlic, hoisin sauce, mild chili sauce (if using), soy sauce, honey, and water. Whisk together until smooth.
  3. Step 3: Coat the cleaned drumettes in the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the marinated chicken in a single layer.
  5. Step 5: Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden-brown and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Step 6: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate longer than 30 minutes.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper cooking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
